With the help of our therapists and clients, we are all working together to make sure that at-home wellness is not only accessible again but is enjoyable, relaxing and satisfying.

Team Massage Me are committed to keeping our entire community safe during the pandemic. Please look through our standards, which are all designed according to the authorities' top advice.

Massage Me Therapists

  • Massage Me are active in keeping our community safe:

    • Any therapists experiencing symptoms are taken out of rotation until they have been ‘asymptomatic’ for at least 7 days;

    • Any therapists who have knowingly been exposed will be temporarily taken out of rotation to self-quarantine for a minimum of 14 days;

  • All Massage Me therapists are trained in Covid-19 specific health and safety measures;

  • Massage Me therapists will wear a face mask that is fitted correctly whilst on duty;

  • Therapists will wash their hands on arrival, before starting your treatment and again at the end of every treatment;

  • Your therapist will sanitise all the massage equipment before starting the treatment, and again following the treatment, this includes the massage table, bolster, etc. And change the towels between each treatments;

    • When possible, disposable items will be used, such as face cushion and table covers.

Massage Me Clients

When you book a session with us, please:

  • Be aware that your therapist will be asking more additional in-depth questions at the time of booking and during the consultation;

  • Take a shower and/or carefully wash your hands prior to your booking;

  • Please also provide access to a sink for your therapist to wash their hands;

  • Wear a face mask that covers your face and nose. We also recommend having a hand towel ready to cough or sneeze into;

  • Be aware also that unless specifically requested, practitioners will not touch your face. Additional protocols must be followed if a therapist is working on your face;

  • Keep the space well ventilated with open windows etc. to keep good airflow,

    • If possible, please open the windows for 15 minutes before the treatment starts;

  • Clear a suitable space big enough for the therapist to set up in;

  • Keep other members of your household, including pets and children, away from the massage space (room and table) and also from interacting with the therapist;

  • Clients will be asked to provide their own towels and bedding for the massage. If this is not possible, we will provide clean, fresh linen,

    • All used, or disposable equipment will be safely disposed of by the therapist;

  • Pay for your booking in advance of the session. We advise you to do it online when booking. We can also take payment over the phone (0033 (0)4 79 04 20 66).

When Not to Book

We ask that clients do not book a session with us if:

  • You are experiencing any symptoms related to COVID-19,

    • Or have you experienced any symptoms within the past 7 days;

  • You have been in contact with anyone in the last 14 days which you suspect to have Covid-19;

We also strongly advise against booking if you fall into the high-risk categories.
