Massage Me is a booking agent and mobile massage company based in the French Alps.

This coming winter will see the opening of Massage Me's first Spa. Based within a 4 star hotel in La Rosiere, France.

We are currently looking for ambitious applicants with the vision, drive and belief to enable Massage Me to grow through an exciting transitional phase.

Being a small company every person is responsible for the company’s success.  We have our roles and responsibilities but we are a team through and through.

We are based in the mountains and a desire to live and work in this environment is essential. The company owners, Anna and Richard, moved to the Alps to ski and bike on some of the best terrain in the world, and it's epic.  If you would rather commute on a train than a push bike; or go clubbing over an early night and a powder day Massage Me is not the right company for you.

Spa Manager - Job Description

The Spa Manager will be responsible for the overall operational function and management of the spa and will demonstrate leadership throughout the spa to maximize guest and team satisfaction.

This person will be  responsible for all spa policies and procedures and has direct supervision for the spa staff.


  • To achieve agreed commercial targets through the planned coordinated development of the facility and the implementation of the treatment and activity program.

  • Develop concept-planning, menu of services, retailing, merchandising, marketing and product development

  • To analyse monthly financial and statistical reports and propose recommendations regarding policy and operation.

  • To liaise with the Massage Me Sales and Marketing Manager in the preparation and development of marketing plans for the year and coordination of all promotional plans and projects for the spa.

  • To help effectively integrate the spa within the hotel marketing strategy and to ensure ongoing representation of the spa, both internally and externally.

  • Carries out treatments when necessary.

  • To ensure the spa area is clean and presentable to clients at all times. (daily cleaning will be carried out by the hotel)

Bookings Management

  • To manage all bookings through an online booking system and liaise with hotel reception for bookings when necessary.

Customer Service Management:

  • To deal with enquiries, problems and complaints from spa clientele. To interact professionally with guests and members of staff.

  • To ensure that the members are kept informed of all the activities and development at the Spa, both in the form of internal and external advertising.

Recruitment & Training:

  • Organisation and administration of spa therapist recruitment, orientation and training

  • Liaison with Massage Me Sales and Marketing Manager regarding recruitment and advertising strategies

Person Specification:

In order to be shortlisted, you must demonstrate (through your application form or interview) that you meet all the essential criteria and as many of the desired criteria as possible


  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience (Desired)

Knowledge and experience:

  • 2 or more years previous spa management experience, particularly in supervising and administering sales and marketing of spa operations (Essential)
  • Experience of budgeting and managing the financial aspects of the spa. 

  • 2 or more years experience as a massage and beauty therapist.

Pay Package

  • Full time position November - April and July - August. (outside of these months the hotel is closed) 

  • French CDD contract
