Massage Me is a booking agent and mobile massage company based in the French Alps.
Massage Me has been providing a mobile massage service in the French Alps for the last 10 years. We started out with two therapists in one resort and have grown into a well established and regarded company contracting 15 staff who work in and around 16 ski resorts in the winter season. As well as providing a smaller service in the summer months.
Over the next six months, Massage Me is looking to expand and have a full time, year round team of enthusiastic people who think on their feet and leave nothing to chance.
We are currently looking for ambitious applicants with the vision, drive and belief to enable Massage Me to grow through an exciting transitional phase.
Being a small company every person in the office team is responsible for the company’s success. We have our roles and responsibilities but we are a team through and through.
Our office is based in the mountains and a desire to live and work in this environment is essential. The company owners, Anna and Richard, moved to the Alps to ski and bike on some of the best terrain in the world, and it's epic. If you would rather commute on a train than a push bike; or go clubbing over an early night and a powder day Massage Me is not the right company for you.

One of three key management positions in the Massage Me company structure. Under the supervision of the Company Director, the Office Manager will work alongside the Marketing and Sales Manager and the Finance Manager
Key responsibilities (detailed below) include office management, booking system management; customer service management and supervision of the customer care team; recruitment and management of therapists; and sporting event management.
Maintain office efficiency by planning and implementing effective office systems
Maintain office services by organising office operations and procedures
Design and implement office policies by establishing standards and procedures
Design and implement filing procedures of all records
Keep other management informed by reporting and summarising information and identifying trends
Manage and support office staff to maintain our excellent standards through regular planning, supervision, monitoring and appraisal.
Contribute to team effort to achieve company results and successes
Massage Me’s an online booking service links customers to therapists either directly or through our tour operator partners. Bookings will primarily be online, some however will be over the phone through our ‘Customer Care Agents’.
It will be the responsibility of the General Office Manager to:
Monitor the bookings on the system
Solve any problems that may occur
Facilitate communication between all relevant parties ensuring all bookings are completed smoothly and thoroughly
Customer Service Management:
Achieve customer service objectives by preparing and completing strategic plans; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems; determining system improvements; implementing change.
Improve customer service by studying, evaluating, and re-designing processes; monitoring and analysing results; implementing change
Complete operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees (customer care agents) and following up on work results
Manage and support office staff to maintain our excellent standards through regular planning, supervision, monitoring and appraisal
Recruitment & Training:
Organisation and administration of therapist recruitment, orientation and training
Organisation and administration of customer care agent recruitment, orientation and training
Liaison with Sales and Marketing Manager regarding recruitment and advertising strategies
Recruitment of therapists for summer sporting events
Liaise with event organisers
Organisation of transport, materials and equipment for events
In order to be shortlisted, you must demonstrate (through your application form or interview) that you meet all the essential criteria and as many of the desired criteria as possible
- Educatedto degree level (essential), preferably in Hospitality, business, management or tourism related (desirable)
Knowledge and experience:
At least three years working experience in a customer service orientated roll. (Essential)
Experience of creating, implementing and improving office policies and procedures. (Essential)
Experience of staff management, including training, mentoring and performance management. (Essential)
Experience of the entire recruitment process. (Desired)
Experience of managing customer bookings (Essential)
Experience of working in a small company and within a small management team (Desired)
Knowledge of the ski industry and in particular the tour operators. (Essential)

During this exciting, 5 year, transitional period Massage Me aims to grow considerably. Targets have been set for annual gross sales and profit for this period. As part of the management team responsible for reaching, and hopefully exceeding, these targets a profit sharing scheme will be available from May 2020. Targets and profit sharing will be reviewed and amended annually from December 2018.
